MONTGOMERY - Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley Ritchie Jowers will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2018 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville with Reverend Beth Gaspard officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Montgomery.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Mrs. Jowers, age 76, of Union City, Tennessee, formerly of Marksville, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Ritchie and Bertha Leasure Ritchie; two brothers, William “Bud” Ritchie and Dwight “Bessie” Ritchie; and one sister, Carol Busche.
Those left to cherish her memory are one son, David Biro of Mayfield, Kentucky; two daughters, Christina Biro of Sacramento, California and Patricia Dubea of Beaumont, Texas; one brother, Joe Ritchie; two sisters, Anna Riggenbach and Betty Brown; numerous grandchildren; and great grandchildren.
