Tammy Marie Scelfo, 63, Effie

Mrs. Tammy Marie Scelfo, age 63, of Effie, passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021at Rapides Hospital in Alexandria. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Tammy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her grandsons. Always listening carefully to every word they said and responding with as much enthusiasm as them. She was a great listener and friend. She took joy in working in her flowerbeds and doing yard work. She was an excellent cook, always trying new recipes for her family. She had a wonderful sense of humor. She practiced as a LPM for years and always enjoyed her work. She will be truly Missed.

She was preceded in death by on brother, Martin Scelfo, Jr.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Smetak, Parents Martin Sr., and Marie Hebert Scelfo; two sons, Joseph “J.R.” Ray Dauzat (Leigh Ann), Marty Ray Dauzat; two brothers, Tony Scelfo (Lauri), Neil Paul Scelfo; one sister, Debra Scelfo and two granschildren, Leland Grey Dauzat and Jude Harrison Dauzat.

Arrangements are under the direction of Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Marksville.
