Ted Anthony Dubroc, 65, of Pineville, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023, at Rapides Regional Medical Center.

Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Sampson Dubroc Jr. and Peggy Bonial Dubroc; sister Donna Dubroc; brother Mark Dubroc; father-in-law, James C. “Bill” Hebert; and his grandson Abel Mercer.

Ted graduated from Fifth Ward High School then moved to Lafayette, where he earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Southeastern Louisiana. Upon graduation, he spent his 40-year career in vehicle sales and management. Ted worked at many local dealerships: Service Chevrolet, Marler Ford, Walker Automotive, and Southern Chevrolet. Ted loved cooking and spending time with family and friends, the more people the better. He was an avid hunter, duck and pheasant being his favorite. Ted also loved fishing; every time you saw Ted in a boat Peggy was next to him. She liked to fish just as much as he did; he couldn’t leave without her. After retirement, RVing became their new hobby, spending weeks at a time on the road. He was known to his 14 grandchildren as TaTa and was so proud of them all, bragging every chance he got. Ted was a devout Catholic, a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and truly enjoyed serving with ACTS Retreats.

Ted is survived by his wife of 29 years Peggy Hebert Dubroc; their children, Lacy Dubroc Kelly (Brian), Cassie Moreau Raley (Jeremy), Josh Ogea Dubroc, Father Blake Dubroc, Challie Moreau Mercer (Jeffrey), Carli Moreau Kerry (Austin), and Tyler Dubroc (Nicole); fourteen grandchildren, Abigail, Jathan, Anabelle, Zachary, Abram, Caroline, Creighton, Carson, Grady, Sam, Elise, Savannah, Anne Marie, and Adeline; his brother, Deacon Darrell Dubroc (Charlotte) one aunt Rosella Dubroc; his mother-in-law, Nelda Hebert; sister-in-law, Kathleen Hebert Johnson (David), along with many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be Tyler Dubroc, Josh Ogea Dubroc, Billy Craft, Jathan Dubroc, Brian Kelly, Jeremy Raley, Austin Kerry, and Jeffrey Mercer.

The family of Ted Dubroc would like to thank each of you for your love and support.
