Teddie Elvin Wade, Jr., 83, Marksville

Funeral services for Mr. Teddie Elvin Wade, Jr. will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers with Pastor Danny and Sister Angela Hargrove officiating. Interment will be held at Wade Cemetery in Effie, LA. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville, LA.

Mr. Wade, age 83, of Marksville, LA. passed on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at his residence. He is preceded in death by his parents, Teddie Sr. and Olie Reed Wade; three brothers, James Wade, McArthur Wade and Ronnie Wade; two sisters, Thelna Bettevy and Mattie Cole.

Those left to cherish his memory are his brother, William Wade (Bonnie) of Farrell, PA; and two sisters, Myrdris Dauzat of Moreauville and Shirley Haney of Marksville.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and reopen on Monday, October 16, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home.
