Virgie Marie Moras Dubroc, 70, Fort Smith, AR

Funeral services for Mrs. Virgie Marie Moras Dubroc will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 8th, 2023 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville with Pastors Danny & Angela Hargrove officiating. Interment will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery #2 under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville.

Mrs. Dubroc, age 70, of Fort Smith, AR passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul, Sr. and Edna Vercher Moras; brother, Jimmy Moras; sisters, Juanita Dauzat, and Betty St. Andrew.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Michael Guillory, Jr. of Alexandria, LA, Tracey Guillory of Fort Smith, AR, and Christopher Dubroc of Pineville, LA; daughters, Roxanne Dannenberg (Kenneth) of Fort Smith, AR, and Jennifer Hughes (Brian) of Pampa, TX; brothers, Paul Moras, Jr. (Shirley) of Hessmer, LA, Lester Moras (Lynn) of Mobile, AL, and Charles Moras (Susan) of Marksville, LA; sisters, Bernice Franks of Carthage, TX, Rose Charrier of Marksville, LA, Martha Moras of Pollock, LA, Pauline Miller of Freeport, FL, Linda Sue Franks of Marksville, LA, and Lessie Moras of Freeport, FL. She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren, and 14 Great Grandchildren.

Mrs. Virgie was born on November 9th, 1953 in Pineville, LA to the union of Paul, Sr. and Edna Vercher Moras. She was a stay at home mother, and caregiver. she was a wonderful mother, and very caring. She loved to be around her family and all of her kids. She nurtured and played an important role in all of our lives. She will always be remembered for her stories, pretend games, and her caring and loving hugs and kisses. She could light up a room with her jokes. She will be missed by all of those who loved and knew her. Momo’s babies will always love and miss you!

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Michael Guillory, Tracey Guillory, Christopher Dubroc, Kenneth Dannenberg, Charlie Inabnet, Donovan Willis.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 7th, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and resume on Friday morning from 8:00 a.m. until the time of services at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville.
