Viriginia Daigrepont, 87, Rexmere

Viriginia Daigrepont, age 87, a resident of Rexmere passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Point Coupee General Hospital in New Roads.

Visitation will begin at 9:00am until 11:00am on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at St. Peter’s Church Hall in Bordelonville.

Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00am on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Rexmere with Fr. Paul Kunnumpuram officiating. The burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Allen Daigrepont; children: Peggy (Philip) Desselle, Charlene (Danny) Foster, Faye (Brian) Moore, Dale Daigrepont, Jan Daigrepont, and Pam (Mack, Jr.) Lemoine. She is also survived by her sisters, Cecile Bordelon and Ruby Nell St. Romain; 12 grandchildren: Philisha (Eric), Phil Allen, Christy, Casie (Aaron), Collene (Allen), Chalane, Chelsie (Ted), Jeffery (Lillie), Marcus (Airsh), Reganne, Tyler (Emily), Aliese; 24 great-grandchildren: Gabriel, Maggie, Jayden, Blake, Olivia, Bryant, Clay, Cason. Cade, Brylie, Trenton, Ryan, Havyn, Jade, Ethan, Anna, Amelia, Jenna, Taylor, Sophie, Jace, Brayden, Camden, & Oakley.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers: Tyler, Phil Allen, Taylor, Jeffery, Ethan, & Marcus.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence & Agnes (Sayer) Laprairie; brother, Leo Laprairie; and grandchild, Monica.
