Wayne Brazzel,59 of Big Cane

Funeral services for Wayne Brazzel will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 30, 2021 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie with the Bros. Danny and David Broussard officiating. Burial will follow in the Bayou Jacque Church of Christ cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mr. Brazzel, age 59 of Big Cane, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at his residence with his loving wife at his side.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Dalgo Brazzel; his father, William “Dub” Brazzel, Sr.; his mother, Virgie “Dollie” Fulmer; and brother, Ronald Oliver.
Survivors include his wife, Marsha D. Brazzel of Big Cane; his son, Corey Brazzel of Batchelor; step children, Abby White, Nicholas Leonards and Molly Leonards; brother, Frank Brazzel and wife Marie of Ville Platte; sister, Connie Brazzel of Big Cane; step-grandchildren, Mason and Adalyn; his nieces and nephews, Nicole, Jessica, Brittney, and Austin and 4 great-nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will include: Austin Brazzel, Frank Brazzel Corey Brazzel, Nicholas Leonards, Nathan Broussard and Stafford Deshotel. Honorary pallbearers are; Dale Hammond, Henry Deshotel, Greg Mayhall and Joey Meche.
Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
