Zelian Joseph Armand, 72, Cottonport

Zelian Joseph Armand of Cottonport, LA, age 72, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, May 3, 2024.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, beginning at 11:00am at St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church in Cottonport, LA. with Fr. Charlie Ray officiating.

Visitation will begin at 9:30am until time of Mass Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church in Cottonport, LA.

He was born July 22, 1951 in Cottonport, LA. He graduated from Cottonport High School and pursued a successful career as a skilled Carpenter and Construction worker, building homes, roads, and bridges.

"Papa Z" loved life, summertime, beach vacations, cooking, horses, Christmas time, staying active, gathering around the pool with family and friends listening to Rock-N-Roll. His love for his wife and family is untouchable even in death.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Pamela C. Armand; daughters, Sarah Tigner (Justin), Jamie Armand, Candace Clark (Daniel), Dustin Lacour (Courtney), Jarred Lacour (Rayneke); grandchildren, Ella Tigner, Mia Tigner, Jada Armand, Alexis Armand, Bristol Clark, Jolie Clark, Lainey Clark, Adelyn Lacour, Autumn Lacour, Khole Bordelon, Preslie Lacour, Jasper Lacour, and Foster Lacour; great-grandchild, Khalil Joseph; sisters, Peggy Nicholson (Tommy) and Geneva Mayeux.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amber Armand; parents, Leroy and Anna Armand; and brother-in-law, Dale Mayeux.
