Obituary
Tucker was an old soul in a young man’s body, wise beyond his years, gentle in spirit, and full of life in every way that mattered. Tucker loved the simple things. If you were looking for Tucker, chances are you would find him in a duck blind before daylight or in the woods waiting on a deer to cross his path. He loved the stillness of the mornings, the call of the ducks over water, and the thrill of a good hunt shared with friends and family. The outdoors wasn’t just a hobby for him, it was home.
Tucker loved the hum of an old motor coming back to life under his hands. He would spend hours tinkering with “junk” that others would have thrown away. Tucker had a laugh that could fill a room, a heart big enough for everyone he met, and a way of making ordinary days feel special. Whether it was a hunting trip to the camp, a late-night talk, or a dusty project in the shed, Tucker reminds us that life isn’t about the things we have, but the love, laughter and stories we share.
Tucker graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a mechanical engineering degree and was a member of the Kappa Alpha Order. After graduating, Tucker was hired by Cameron Valve in Patterson, Louisiana.
Tucker will be missed deeply by family, friends and all who were lucky enough to know him. We will hold firmly to his memory, clinging to our faith and hope in the promise of one day being reunited.
He is preceded in death by his father, Randy Lacombe, grandfathers, Gerald Beaubouef and James Marion Lacombe, Sr.; Adam and Nathan Beaubouef.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Michele Beaubouef Lacombe; brothers, Tyler and Tanner Lacombe; grandmothers, Eva Rae Beaubouef and Ina Lacombe; aunt, “Lee Lee” Donna Beaubouef; and uncles, Gary, James and Patrick Lacombe; godparents, Chantelle Hataway and Gary Lacombe.
