Neal Joseph Gaspard Obituary
Funeral services celebrating the life of Mr. Neal Joseph Gaspard will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Homes with Deacon Ken Primeaux officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery #2. Services are entrusted to Hixson Brothers Funeral Home.

Mr. Gaspard, age 65, of Marksville passed away on Friday, October 17th, 2025 at Ochsner Lafayette General Hospital. He is preceded in death by his wife, Renee Paul Gaspard; parents, Belton and Jane Brouillette Gaspard; and one brother, Brian Gaspard.

Mr. Neal really enjoyed going hunting and fishing. He will be truly missed by all of his family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Jessica Laborde (Justin) of Carencro, Louisiana; companion of twenty-one years, Rose Dauzat; two sisters, Elaine Gaspard Kelly (Mike) of Marksville and Gail Gaspard Wright (Dan) of Marksville; and two grandchildren, Jordyn Laborde and Jacob Laborde.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville. A recitation of the Holy Rosary will be on Wednesday, October 22nd, 2025 at 11:30 a.m.
