The Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Bunkie, Louisiana met in Special Session at its regular meeting place in the City Hall Annex, Bunkie, Louisiana, on Tuesday October 28, 2025 at 5:30 o’clock P.M. pursuant to a call by the Mayor, notice of which was given in writing to each Council member before and duly posted as required by law.
The meeting was called to order by the mayor who then directed the Clerk to call the roll. She did so with the following results:
Present: Mayor Pro Tempore Vanessa Juneau
Aldermen: Mr. Battiste, Ms. Sampson, Mr. Normand
Absent: Mayor Brenda Sampson, Mr. Kendricks Johnson

The Mayor Pro Tempore declared a quorum to be present and that the meeting was opened for the transaction of business as set forth in the written call for the meeting.
