The Marksville High School boys basketball team extended its winning streak to seven games Tuesday night improving to 7β1 on the season with a 59β46 road victory over Alexandria.

π΄ Join the Fun at the Stick Horse Rodeo!
Avoyelles Parish 4-H will host a Stick Horse Rodeo on Friday, Jan. 16, at the Avoyelles Parish Barn, located across from Marksville Elementary School.
The event is set to begin at 5:30 p.m. and is open to youth ages 5 to 18.

Sacred Heart School in Moreauville celebrated the Christmas season with its annual Christmas Production held Dec. 11 at the Earl Barbry Convention Center. This yearβs production, titled βAn Old Fashion Christmas Radio Show,β brought a nostalgic holiday theme to life while highlighting student talent, creativity and faith.
