Pierce Regard earns top regional honor for the second straight year

Pierce Regard, a sophomore at Avoyelles Public Charter School, has been selected as the 2026 Cenla Golfer of the Year.

The award recognizes outstanding performance, leadership and sportsmanship among student-athletes representing 15 area high schools.

This marks the second time Regard has earned the honor. He was previously named Golfer of the Year in 2025 as a freshman.
