Plaucheville Elementary 4-H Club Supports Local Dog Rescue! 🐾

Members of the Plaucheville Elementary School 4-H Club are shown with donations collected during a school-wide service project benefiting a dog rescue in Avoyelles Parish.

Organized by the club, the effort brought students together to collect more than 150 items, including:

• dog food
• toys
• food and water bowls
• blankets
• other supplies to support animals in need.

The donations were presented to Malaine Glover, who operates the rescue in Hessmer.

School leaders said the project helped teach students the value of community service while making a meaningful impact locally, as the contributions will directly support the care and well-being of dogs at the rescue.
