🎉 Red River Bank Joins Forces with Building a Better Avoyelles!

We are delighted to announce that Red River Bank has committed to a Community Partnership with Building a Better Avoyelles for 2026. This partnership will help expand our cultural and educational outreach throughout Avoyelles Parish and strengthen the connection between local people, businesses, and community institutions.

Red River Bank is a Louisiana based, state chartered community bank that opened its doors in 1999 in Alexandria. Over the years they have grown into a statewide institution with twenty eight banking centers across Louisiana while staying committed to the values of hometown banking. Their approach, described on their website as the Red River Way, places emphasis on personal service, community decision making, and banking made simple.

Heading Red River Bank is Blake Chatelain, President and CEO. The bank maintains a local branch in Marksville, which helps ensure that banking services remain accessible right here in Avoyelles Parish.

Through this partnership, Red River Bank will support community wide advertising and outreach efforts across our three local newspapers. That support will help maintain regular coverage of local events, schools, culture, and business news, all of which are vital to preserving and strengthening the identity and spirit of our parish.
