Avoyelles Spring League Opens Registration for 2026 Season

The Avoyelles Spring League has officially opened online registration for its 2026 youth baseball season, giving families across the parish a chance to sign up their children for one of the area’s most anticipated annual sports programs. Registration opened this week and will remain available through Feb. 20, 2026, at HessmerSportsClub.com.

The league, which draws players from throughout Avoyelles Parish, offers multiple age divisions, including:

• T-Ball (age 4 by March 1, 2026)
• Coach Pitch
• 9/10
• 11/12
• 13/14 boys and girls.

Parents may confirm the correct division for their child using the USSSA age calculator at USSSA.com/age.

Player showcase evaluations will take place Feb. 23–24, allowing coaches and league coordinators to assess participants before forming teams. The season will begin with the annual opening tournament, scheduled for March 26–29, followed by regular league games starting Monday, April 6.

The popular program will conclude with its closing tournament during the final week of May, marking the end of another season of youth baseball focusing on skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and community involvement.

League organizers are encouraging families to register early to secure a spot, as participation numbers continue to grow each year. Additional updates will be posted on Hessmer Sports Club’s website and social media pages as the season approaches.
