Scenes from Moreauville’s annual Christmas parade on Dec. 7, 1986 drew large crowds and festive spirit along the bayou. The parade featured 69 entries and attracted an estimated 2,000 viewers along the route. These moments were originally published in The Avoyelles Journal on Dec. 14, 1986, and are highlighted again as the parish prepares for this year’s holiday parades.
