🚧 Road District 2 Tax Renewal Rejected by Voters! 📉

Road District 2 voters rejected the 20-mill, 10-year tax renewal on Nov. 15, with unofficial results showing 75 percent voting against it and 25 percent in favor.

A total of 685 ballots were cast across the district’s 17 precincts for a turnout of 13.3 percent.

The renewal would have replaced the current 30-mill tax that expires at the end of 2026.

With the failure of the measure, Road District 2 will lose its dedicated road tax unless voters approve a new proposal in the future.
