Rotary Club Rallies Behind Lady Panthers in Playoffs!

The Bunkie Rotary Club showed its support for local athletics by donating $300 to the BHS Lady Panthers Softball Team ahead of their LHSAA Quarterfinals appearance on April 22.

The donation was approved unanimously during the club’s regular meeting and helped provide a team breakfast and travel snacks as the Lady Panthers prepared for their trip to Shreveport.

The team faced Calvary Baptist in the quarterfinal round later that day, representing Bunkie with pride in postseason play.

Coach Katelyn Hines Hillman and her players expressed their appreciation to the Rotary Club for its continued support of local student-athletes.
