Sacred Heart School’s 60th Annual Fall Fair, held Oct.
17–19, brought together generations of families, alumni,
and community supporters for a weekend overflowing
with faith, food, and fun. The beloved event, a cornerstone
of Sacred Heart tradition, once again proved to be a joyful
celebration of parish and school spirit.

Principal Amy Coco praised the dedication of the many
people who made the milestone event possible.

“I’m overjoyed to see our amazing Sacred Heart family
come together to make this year’s fair such a wonderful
success,”
Coco said. “The love, teamwork, and dedication
everyone has shown truly capture the spirit of our school

community.”

Fair Chairman Ben James, along with Booth Chairmen,
Money Counters, and a large team of volunteers, coordi-
nated a packed three-day schedule featuring games, bingo,
barbecue dinners, live entertainment, and fireworks. The
event kicked off with the traditional Blessing of the Bikes
and Poker Run, which drew dozens of riders and sup-
porters from across Avoyelles Parish.

The fairgrounds were filled with smiles as children en-
joyed rides and games, including the popular “Toxic Melt-
down” inflatable attraction, while others tried their hand
at dunking local volunteers and teachers.

Behind the scenes, countless hands made the event pos-
sible — from room mothers and teachers who coordinated
the online silent auction, to the 5K race and game booth
chairmen who ensured every part of the fair ran smoothly.
The event concluded Sunday night with a spectacular
fireworks display, marking six decades of Sacred Heart’s
cherished Fall Fair tradition.

As the final tents came down, Coco shared one final re-
flection of gratitude:

“We are truly blessed to have such a big family. Every
volunteer, parent, and child played a part in keeping this
tradition alive. God has blessed us greatly.”
