πŸŽ… Santa on the Bayou Returns: A Bordelonville Holiday Tradition! πŸŽ„

Bordelonville is gearing up for a joyful holiday tradition as Santa Claus makes his annual ride along the bayou on Saturday, Dec. 20, beginning at 10 a.m.

The beloved event, sponsored by the Bordelonville Volunteer Fire Department, brings Christmas cheer straight to families throughout the community.

Santa will depart from the Bordelonville Fire Department and travel the bayou route aboard a fire truck, making festive stops along the way so children and families can wave, take photos, and enjoy the excitement of seeing Santa in their own neighborhood. The route includes stops at:

  • Bayou des Glaises Baptist Church
  • Old Iron Bridge
  • Thing Dufour Crossing
  • Roro’s Grocery

At Roro's Grocery, Santa will take a brief break before continuing up North Bayou des Glaises.

Residents are encouraged to step outside, greet Santa as he passes, and share in the holiday spirit alongside local firefighters who help make this tradition possible each year. The fire truck will make its final return to the Bordelonville Fire Department at approximately 2:15 p.m.

With lights flashing, sirens sounding softly, and Santa waving from atop the fire truck, this cherished community celebration promises to spread joy to all ages.
