Slim Lemoine Road to close Oct. 27 for culvert replacement

The Avoyelles Parish Maintenance Department has announced a temporary closure of Slim Lemoine Road at Ruby’s Crossing on Tuesday, Oct. 27, while crews replace a large cross culvert.

The road beyond the crossing will be closed from approximately 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., weather permitting. Officials said they will make every effort to reopen the road as quickly as possible.
