The 2025 Marksville Doll & Toy Fund is underway and is sponsored by the City of Marksville as the Margaret Michel Memorial Doll and Toy Fund.

Toys and gifts to be distributed to deserving children for this Christmas will be purchased with donations made last year.

The Marksville Weekly News has promoted the Doll & Toy fund since the project began during the Great Depression. Donations to continue this worthy cause can be made in the donor’s name or the name of a loved one.

Bunkie Rotary 2025 Doll & Toy Drive

The club is now accepting monetary and toy donations to help provide Christmas gifts, clothing, shoes, and food items for deserving families in the Bunkie area.

Each family supported through the program receives toys and clothing for children, as well as a Christmas ham for their holiday meal.

Donations to continue this worthy cause will be published as they come in each week.
Monetary contributions and toy drop-offs may be brought to the Cottonport Bank in Bunkie (122 SW Main St.) or mailed to the Bunkie Rotary Club, P.O. Box 213, Bunkie, LA 71322. Checks should be made payable to the Bunkie Rotary Club.
