Spring Bayou Bass Tournament: Anglers Shine in the 22nd Annual Event!
Anglers gathered for the 22nd Annual Spring Bayou Bass Tournament where a strong turnout and favorable conditions made for a successful day on the water.
Taking first place were Jason Bordelon and Brandon Eversull who brought in a winning total of 19.68 pounds. The pair also landed the tournament’s big bass weighing 6.30 pounds.
Finishing in second place were Jamie and James Dubroc with 15.88 pounds followed by Dustin and Shane Armand in third place with 15.10 pounds.
In fourth place were Elden and Wesley Dodge with 12.70 pounds while Dave Butler and Zack Smith placed fifth with 12.52 pounds.
Additional tournament recognitions included youngest veteran Andrew Fontenot and oldest veteran Daniel Laborde.
In the “trash fish” category, Jerry and Donald Burlew took first place with 7.58 pounds followed by Brad Gaspard and Blake Juneau with 5.68 pounds and Jerrick Dupont and Keith Carmouche with 4.08 pounds.
Tournament organizers reported 135 fish weighed in totaling 247.06 pounds marking another successful year. They thanked participants and supporters and look forward to next year’s event.
