Andrew Dauzat named 2026 LSU Alumni scholarship recipient

The Avoyelles Parish LSU Alumni Association has announced Andrew Dauzat as the 2026 recipient of its annual scholarship, marking a milestone as the 40th student to receive the honor. Dauzat, a student at Louisiana School for Agricultural Sciences, was selected for his academic achievement, leadership and commitment to his future.

The Avoyelles Parish School Board elected new leadership during its regular meeting Tuesday, Jan. 20, unanimously selecting Aimee Dupuy as board president and Dr. Jay Callegari as vice president for the 2026 calendar year.
