🦃 The Marksville Turkey Takes Flight Again!

The Marksville Turkey is an unusual bird. He emerges from hibernation every 3 1/2 years to strut his feathers hoping to fool the voters yet again. He can be seen in this rare public photo of him doing something positive for the community.

But with this bird, nothing is ever as it seems. He refuses to say who the generous "donor" was. In true Marksville Turkey tradition, this bird gobbled up the credit for him and his political allies, while sandbagging his political opponent Chapman for Change.

The Marksville Turkey’s holiday spirit is helping others as long as he gets something in return (political advantage.) We may never know why he won’t say who the donor was (did it violate campaign laws?), but it is typical behavior from this bird who is usually very shy about explaining himself.

Voters best take advantage of the next six months to view the Marksville Turkey if he wins election yet again this career politician will soon disappear back into hibernation.
