TJ Maxx Opens in Pineville!

A new retail addition has arrived in Pineville as TJ Maxx has opened its doors at The Pines Shopping Center, bringing new shopping opportunities and economic activity to the area.

The store is located at 2985 Cottingham Expressway in the former Kmart building and officially opened March 8 at 8 a.m. The new location operates seven days a week from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Property owner Matt Ritchie said he is excited to welcome a nationally recognized retailer to the long-vacant space. The TJ Maxx store occupies a portion of the former Kmart building, while approximately 27,000 square feet of the property remains available for future tenants. Ritchie said discussions are ongoing with two additional national chains as redevelopment efforts at the shopping center continue.

TJ Maxx, part of TJX Companies, is one of the nation’s largest off-price retailers. The chain offers brand-name clothing, shoes, accessories, beauty products, home décor and housewares at prices typically 20 to 60 percent below traditional department store prices.

The Pineville location features a modern layout designed for easy navigation, including bright fitting rooms and a single-line checkout system aimed at improving the shopping experience.

The opening of TJ Maxx marks another step in the ongoing redevelopment of The Pines Shopping Center and is expected to draw shoppers from across central Louisiana.
