Woods family named Garden of the Month for April

The Marksville Garden Club has named the home of Aaron and Sophie Woods, as its April Garden of the Month.

Woods, along with her children, has created a vibrant spring landscape filled with a variety of plants and blooms. Her children enjoy helping in the garden, with Zoey especially taking an interest in planting, growing and harvesting vegetables.

Woods also credits her garden mentor, Polly Campbell, who regularly shares gardening tips and guidance.

The yard features lorapetalum, evening primrose, magnolia trees, philodendron, verbena, wandering jew, Knockout roses, vinca and other seasonal plants that highlight the beauty of spring.
