Acadian Ambulance Donates AED to Bunkie PD to Save Lives! πŸ’–

The Bunkie Police Department has received a new Automated External Defibrillator (AED) thanks to a donation from Acadian Ambulance Service further strengthening emergency response capabilities in the community.

Officials said the life-saving device will be placed into service to assist officers in responding to medical emergencies particularly cardiac events where immediate intervention can make the difference between life and death.

Bunkie Police expressed appreciation for the donation noting that partnerships like this play a vital role in enhancing public safety and ensuring officers are equipped to better serve residents.

Acadian Ambulance Service was also recognized for its continued commitment to supporting local agencies and improving emergency preparedness across the region.
