Lynn Deloach named 2026 President of Louisiana Cattlemen’s Association

Lynn Deloach has been named the 2026 President of the Louisiana Cattlemen’s Association.

The statewide association is composed of 1,400 members and is governed by a 23 member board of directors. Deloach also serves as President of the Avoyelles Cattlemen’s Association, which includes 94 members.

A resident of Effie, Deloach has been a member of the Louisiana Cattlemen’s Association for 50 years. During the 1990s, he served as a 4-H agent in Avoyelles Parish for seven years, where he worked with youth and adult cattlemen.

Deloach operates a herd of Branford type cattle with Brangus bulls in Effie. His term as state president is for one year, and he said he looks forward to working with cattlemen across Louisiana.

Deloach expressed gratitude for the opportunity, saying he is humbled by the position and committed to moving the industry forward.
