Durwin Paul Gautreaux of Grangeville, Louisiana passed away on August 30, 2026 at the age of 70. He was born on May 25, 1956 to Hilman and Ethel Gautreaux in Simmesport, Louisiana. After graduating from Simmesport High School, he went to work doing general construction but eventually found his passion in being a truck driver. Durwin enjoyed hanging out with friends and family, classic rock, dancing, and was known for being rowdy. He is survived by his kids: Brad (Marcelle) Gautreaux, Rhonda (Chris) Leleaux, Mark Gautreaux, David (Tyrenne)
Gautreaux, Ethan Cutrer, and Jessica (Joseph) Basso; his sisters: Donna (Kenneth) Marsh, Belinda (Larry) Rabalais, and Karen Gautreaux, and thirteen grandchildren.
