Obituary for Earl Barbin
Earl Barbin, 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and love. He was born on August 17, 1938, in Marksville, LA to Agnes Tassin Barbin and Lemmie Barbin.
Earl was known for his larger-than-life personality, humor, and love of entertaining. He enjoyed business, decorating, a good martini, and especially being on stage. Over the years, he performed in many plays and venues and also performed as a stand-up comic. He also had a great love of dogs, especially his beloved dog, Gaston.
He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Liestman and Juliette Barbin; his husband, Allan B. McDonald (“Dane”); and his four grandchildren, Caden Lone, Megan Liestman, Emily Liestman, and Parker Liestman.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Earline Barbin and Juria
Barbin.
Earl will be remembered for his humor, talent, charm, and the joy he brought to those around him.
