Gordon Francis Guillot
Mass of Christian burial for Mr. Gordon Francis Guillot will be held on Friday,
May 1 st , 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church with Father
Kenneth Michiels officiating. Interment will be at St. Alphonsus Mausoleum.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of
Marksville.
Gordon was a loving husband and father and his happiest times were when he
was surrounded by family and friends. He was kind to everyone who touched his
life and he always took time to visit with people around town. He spent most of
his life helping others and doing everything he could for all of his family.
Mr. Guillot, age, 83, of Hessmer, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, April
26 th , 2026, at Rapides Regional Hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana. He was
preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Rhea Gauthier Guillot; daughter,
Ann Marie Guillot.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 62 years, Gilda Prevot
Guillot of Hessmer, Louisiana; sons, Randy Guillot (Vicki) of Magnolia, Texas;
Chad Guillot (Laine) of Prairieville, Louisiana; daughter, Lori Firmin (Marty) of
Hessmer, Louisiana; 6 grandchildren, Haley Guillot McDougal, Cade Guillot, Jake
Guillot, Ryan Guillot, Brady Guillot, and Logan Firmin, and two great
grandchildren on the way.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Logan Firmin., C.J. McDougal, Cade
Guillot, Ryan Guillot, Jake Guillot, and Brady Guillot.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 30 th , 2026, in the Chapel of Hixson
Brothers Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and will resume at 8:00
a.m. on Friday, May 1 st , 2026, until 10:30 a.m.
