Obituary for Sandra Cecelia Sampson

Mass of Christian burial for Mrs. Sandra Cecelia Sampson will be
held on Saturday, June 13 th , 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost
Catholic Church with Father Joseph Desimone officiating.
Interment will be held at Holy Ghost Cemetery. Arrangements are
under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Marksville, Louisiana.
Mrs. Sampson, age 78, of Marksville, Louisiana passed away on
Wednesday, June 3 rd , 2026, at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital
in Alexandria, Louisiana. Mrs. Sampson was preceded in death by
her parents, Herman Benjamin and Gloria Alexander; husband,
Ellis P. Sampson; brother, Karl A. Sampson.
Those left to cherish her memory are her 3 sons, Clyde Benjamin
of Hammond, Louisiana; Jason Lusk of Marksville, Louisiana;
Stravos Sampson of Ft. Washington, Maryland; 3 daughters, Senna
Jones of Ponchatoula, Louisiana; Sonja Ford of Marksville,
Louisiana; and Erika Patterson of Duson, Louisiana; 2 brothers,
John R. Sampson and Michael Sampson both of Marksville,
Louisiana; 3 sisters, Madeline McGlory and Barbara Frank both of
Marksville, Louisiana; and Debra Greenhouse of Alexandria,
Louisiana. She also leaves behind 14 grandchildren and 14 great
grandchildren; and her loving and caring companion, Larry
Larcarte of Cottonport, Louisiana.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 13 th , 2026, at Hixson
Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30
a.m. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 9:45 a.m. on
