Travel Avoyelles to host Friendsgiving Brunch

Fête du Matin set for November 7 at The Spruill Hideaway

Travel Avoyelles invites you to gather around the table for a special Friendsgiving Brunch Fundraiser on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at The Spruill Hideaway, 345 Dr. T-Doos Road in Mansura.

Tucked away in the woods, this beautiful private retreat provides the perfect setting for an autumn gathering centered around good food, live music, friendship and the warm hospitality Avoyelles Parish is known for.

French Creole-inspired menu

Guests will enjoy a French Creole-inspired brunch menu featuring Boudin Bites, Egg Casserole, Bacon, Assorted Fruit, Buttered Grits, Pork Loin with Pepper Jelly, Croissants and Donut Bread Pudding, along with Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s.

Live music

Live music will add to the relaxed Friendsgiving atmosphere as guests gather for a memorable afternoon in the Centre de la Louisiane.

Tickets

Tickets are $50 per person and seating is limited. Tickets are confirmed upon payment and will be available on a first-paid, first-served basis.

“Friendsgiving is about gathering around the table, sharing a meal and enjoying the company of friends,” said Wilbert Carmouche and Mary Guillory, Co-Directors of Travel Avoyelles. “We thought, what better way to celebrate that spirit than with a beautiful setting, a French Creole-inspired brunch, music and the hospitality that makes Avoyelles so special?”

Proceeds from the fundraiser will support the tourism promotion efforts of Travel Avoyelles and the Avoyelles Parish Tourist Commission.
