Marksville will only ask for a $500,000 line-of-credit instead of credit line of over $1 million, the City Council decided in a special meeting on July 15.

The cast of Bunkie Magnet Beta Club's Wizard of Oz pose after completing an award-winning performance. The students' performance at the state convention qualified them for the national competition. The Bunkie club won 1st place in Performing Arts. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the national convention was canceled and competitions were judged virtually with photos and videos .
