Friday COVID in Avoyelles: no new cases, one more death

It was another one-case day for Avoyelles Parish Thursday. The daily COVID update from the state health department showed only 128 tests were reviewed for the report, with one positive result.
Avoyelles had only one new case of COVID in the parish in the daily report released Wednesday.
There were only 97 COVID tests reviewed for Avoyelles Parish in Tuesday's update from the state health department, but there were no first-time infections in the parish.
The incidence of COVID in Avoyelles Parish remained low over the weekend with only three cases diagnosed out of 339 tests reviewed since Friday.
